As a friend told us on Friday we're on the inside of two weeks before you open. With the build out complete it's time to fill the store with merchandise, but until then here's a peak inside
Snow, wind and sawdust...
The lovely northern Wisconsin weather hasn't been cooperating with our work schedule, but despite a couple inches of snow yesterday, cold and blustery conditions we endured mother nature and managed to make plenty of sawdust. Dave got the countertop in yesterday and today we're finishing the dressing rooms, cutting more wood and are thankful for some morning sunshine. The space is really starting to take shape and look more like a store than a construction project! Pictures and more to come...
Solstice Vintage 2011
A couple months ago our family mixed up a batch of Pinot Grigio in preparation for the first day we open the store. Well the wine will be ready and the date has been set... Thursday, May 5th for the ribbon cutting at noon followed by our evening "Doors Are Open Event" 5:00-8:00p.m. It's hard to believe that after over a year of planning, building and a lot of work we're only a couple weeks away. We can't wait to open our doors, let the light in and share our vision of an outdoor store with the community.
Making progress
We're making progress getting the new floors down and walls painted in the space. Photos to come soon!
Until then, check out our Facebook page for status updates and more information on our Grand Opening Event.
As promised. Here's a sneak peak at what we've been working on inside the store...
